Happy 10th Anniversary, KotOR- 7/15/13.
I'm aware that Revan is canonically male these days, but in the original KotOR there was the option to play as female.
She is to debut at SDCC in a few days. And I'm STOKED AS HELL to wear this.
Technical/build notes: here.

Costume and lightsaber by yours truly.
There is much, much more to come. I'm all giddy thinking about it.

I hope they're working on KOTOR 3 now...
Okay, Thanks I was trying to figure out how to make Revan Armor for cons and Halloween and such events. I saw a bunch of places said to make the armor out of craft foam and hot glue but nothing really specific on the details of Revan's armor. Thank you so much for your help. I wish you the best of luck in your future projects.
No, no seriously. Screw them. They did a slap-in-the-face disservice to the image of a strong, powerful female character in what's normally reserved as an all-boys' club.
Not good enough for EA though! They slapped a sausage twixt her nethers and called it a day -_-
Yeah, canon also said Han shot second and gave us Darth Caedus and Jar Jar Binks. I'll be over here ignoring it, thanks. Far as I'm concerned, Dustil decided to steal his stepmom's ID or something...
Though I do suppose my liking for Caedus is influence by the fact I haven't had the chance to read the NJO books.
Don't worry, I agree with pretty much everything else you said. As far as I'm concerned, the book-that-must-not-be-named and the MMO are not canon, at all. Period. They contradict with far too much already established lore (not even mentioning the KotORs!), and they make no flippin' sense. Sith ships stronger than SSDs, more than 1000 years before the Galactic Civil War?? No thanks!
Fuck NJO and everyone associated with it. Oh, and that Revan book too. Revan's a woman.
Those NJO books though... they're like DC's Countdown series. All it knows how to do is kill everyone. Especially the well-liked characters. All sacrificed at the altar of DARK'N EDGY!
If we want dark and edgy, we'll watch BSG. It's made around that.
Star Wars isn't about watching the characters we grew up with meet increasingly horrific ends, it's about the adventure!
